Well I made it through my hectic week last week. It was exhausting, but also a lot of fun since I had so much going on. Even though I’m glad to be back online and I have to admit I kind of enjoyed stepping away from the computer for a bit. As much as I love blogging, I enjoyed the real world, free of blogs for a bit.
In other news, I had another great long weekend. I headed upstate to go skiing/snowboarding with Rylan. We went to Stratton Mountain in Vermont and had so much fun! One of my friends lives in Vermont, but was away for the weekend. She said we could stay at her house anyways, so we took her up on that offer. I love her house. It is an adorable old house that you could only find in a place like Vermont.
We had a great day skiing/snowboarding, but boy was it COLD. The wind was probably the worst part, especially when you are sitting on the chair lift.
Rylan is from Lake Placid, NY so she grew up skiing. Before this year she hadn’t been in over 10 years, but she did a great job picking it back up. Much better than I did!
As for my sick snowboarding skills I think I handled myself pretty well this weekend. I was really nervous that it would be super crowded since it was a holiday weekend, but it turned out to be not that bad. I fell a couple of times including running into a girl as I was trying to slow down at the bottom of the hill. Oops!
Other than a few falls we had a great time! So much fun, that Rylan decided that she needed a brand new pair of skis.
How was your weekend?

How fun! You definitely had a more adventurous weekend than me.
Looks like a fun weekend! I used to ski during middle school, but I haven’t been since 7th grade.
Yay! Snowboarding is my favorite in life. I didn’t go this weekend though…we went camping instead.
Brrrr…… I swear I hate the cold so much that skiing just seems painful! Glad you had fun
I’d love to go skiing sometime. Glad you had such a fun weekend!
Rylan is such a cool name! Looks like you had a fun time skiing! I always tell myself I should learn since I live less than 5 miles away from a popular skiing place (I don’t know what the word is for that, sad I know haha) AND you’d think living in MN it’s something I’d want to take up… Yeahhh I’ll get to it sometime. Have a great Monday!
Sounds like a blast! Vermont is soo pretty!
Glad you enjoyed!
Jealous every time you post something about being on a mountain. It’s March next week and I have yet to go!
