Yesterday, by late afternoon I was definitely in need of some of these…You know you’re having a rough day when you need not one, not two, but Three bags of candy just to get you through to the end of the day. I fully enjoyed these and then had a headache from such a sugar rush, but I didn’t mind.
This morning I miraculously pulled myself out of bed and headed to the gym. I did some strength training and then ran for exactly 1 mile on the treadmill without stopping!!! I know I said my goal is to do 5+ miles, but this morning was not a day to reach that goal.

- April 6- Scotland 10K Race in Central Park
- April 7- NY Colon Cancer Challenge 4M Race in Central Park
- April 14- More Magazine/ Fitness Magazine Women’s Half Marathon in Central Park
- On March 16th I’m volunteering at the NYC Half Expo handing out T-Shirts for the +1 part
Yes, two of those race are right after each other and yes the half marathon is exactly two weeks before my Country Music Half Marathon in Nashville. I only signed up for that half because my company is paying for it… Free race AND it counts towards my 9+1 program? Yes, please!! I’ll most likely try to take it easy on that race and not over due it.
